Starcat wrote the following list in response to an exercise in Rob Brezsny’s delightful book, Pronoia is the Antidote to Paranoia: How the Whole World is Conspiring to Shower You With Blessings.

The question was, “What exactly are the 13 Perfect Secrets from the Beginning of Time, according to you?”

1. You really do create your own reality.
2. That reality is multi-leveled.
3. Your dreams connect you to the Divine.
4. Everyone is creative.
5. We are made of Love.
6. The Door is the Key (this is also the title of an article BlackLion and I wrote about the connections between the various planes of existence).
7. All is well because of Love.
8. You are beloved just as you are.
9. You are learning and growing all the time.
10. All life is sacred.
11. Laughter is necessary.
12. Everything is interconnected.
13. You are Beauty and Wonder and Joy and Love.

and, of course, since Starcat often refuses to follow the directions precisely, there is an additional secret:

14. Don’t be sorry! (this refers not to genuine and sincere regret for hurting someone, but rather to the state of being unnecessarily apologetic for your basic existence or for pursuing your personal goals)
