Over the past three years since I left my corporate job, I have become much more free-spirited. Essentially, I have learned to let go of the do-do-do mentality and fall more into the be-be-be one. From my point of view, though there have been challenges, I find that this lifestyle is much better suited to my essence.
I have come to realize that the way that I have chosen to live my life is not one that is supported by the current mainstream culture very well. I have had to make compromises as well as significant changes in my thought processes. And I am really glad I have!
Each day, I can choose from a huge menu of projects, activities, and interests. I decide how my day will unfold. Sometimes there are planned events that I choose to attend or not, as well as simply relaxing and enjoying my time. I also get to spend a great deal of time with my family – a bonus! I am able to focus a lot of my time on growing the Feline Dreamers business.
This is not the only path one can choose, though. If you really enjoy what you are doing at work, whether you work for yourself or someone else, keep it up! When you do have time, however, make sure you are nurturing and enriching your life as much as possible. Occasional time off is always recommended.
Free your spirit by being who you are, liking what you like, loving what you love. The best way to feel good is to do the things that feel good to you. As your focus remains on joyful activities and thoughts, you free your spirit to focus and manifest even more of the beautiful things you enjoy and want to experience.
