Sometimes “stuff” happens and it doesn’t feel right. Perhaps you’re holding on to an incident where you felt fault, shame or blame. Every reminder keeps a grudge held and a pain suffered once more. Yet even within those moments, a helping hand was near, a loved one holds an embrace, and your purr loaf on your lap is comfort as you cry and release. Though it may seem dark, there is always the Light.

Do you know what is between darkness and Light? More Light. Even though it may be a bit dimmer for some periods in your life, there is always a Light shining for you to warm yourself.

There is only Light. The darkness (lower case on purpose) is only where you have not yet shone yourself.

You may have focused your attention on that single instance until now, but reliving those moments only propagates more of them. Experiencing those singular moments in eternity doesn’t mean that all the next ones need to remain the same. And remember, your memory of that moment is not the only of perceiving it. The Light was still there, all around you, brighter in some places, dimmer in others, yet all of the Light.

There are hundreds of paths up the mountain, all leading to the same place, so it doesn’t matter which path you take. The only person wasting time is the one who runs around the mountain, telling everyone that his or her path is wrong.

Ok, so you had a crappy moment with your boss the other day. You are not who they think you are; only you can truly know that. Though others may also suffer, your additional suffering will not aid in another’s experience. It can only add to their misery. There is hope. Know that the Light will offer you the way.

By the way, this “Light” is none other than your personal spiritual guidance, directly connected to the Divine inherent. However you ascribe to your Light, know that your dark moments are temporary, while the Light is eternal. You will always find someone, something, some fur bundle that will love you unconditionally to remind you of how precious you always are.

And thanks! You’re making this world a brighter place by remembering to recognize the gifts in the tragedies of life. Remember the joys, even though your heart of love is bursting for just one more moment together. Look back and laugh at the awkward and silly ways you’ve shared in forming new and renewing relationships. Deepen your understanding of your precious place in All-That-Is.

The dark unexplored is an opportunity. Uncover your untold hidden treasures. Resolve to be free of your own misunderstandings. Finally release all the grudges and foibles of the past. Others also make mistakes, as we all manifest together into a new era of Divine understanding.
